My love. My Matt. My sister introduced us 8 years ago and we've been pretty inseparable ever since. We got married in June of 2006 and will celebrate our 5th anniversary on the 24th. We have had many adventures in our 8 years, including owning and operating a one screen movie theater together for a couple of years. He's Mr. Private, so we'll just have see how he feels about all this.
This is me with my Step-Daughter, Cara. She is almost 17 and a Junior in high school. She is talented at singing and playing the piano and mandolin. She also plays softball. She is your typical teenage girl who has a huge heart and big love for God.
This is Trav. He is 14, almost 15. He is a freshman. He is great at playing the guitar and drums and excellent at Baseball. He is also an avid video game player. He's a good big brother and Jack adores him.
Ah, and Jack. Baby Jack. Roo. Jack Jack. Jack-a-roo. My sweet handsome prince. Jack is 2 and all BOY! He loves trains and planes and blocks and jumping and singing (punk rawk!) and likes to pretend he's playing Xbox like Dad and Big Bro.
So this is the fam. You will see/read me discussing mainly Matt and Jack (Roo). They are my day-to-day life. Cara and Trav are very much a part of the family, but they are teenagers and I'm pretty sure they would appreciate not being discussed here. The blended family can be such a delicate balancing act and I don't want to risk tipping the scales.
